…Countrymen, Lend Me Your Ears

George Santayana    Writer and Philosopher “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

“On January 10, 49 B.C.E., General Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon… [and]… began a civil war that would end the Roman Republic.” Nationalgeographic.org

An unprecedented raid on the home of a former United States President by the FBI, hiring 87,000 IRS agents making the IRS larger than the Pentagon, State Department, FBI, and Border Patrol combined is a declaration of war against Americans by a maniacal political party and an uncontrollable administrative state. They have crossed the Rubicon. Our Republic stands in peril.

The progressive movement is leading us into a real civil war with the IRS as their army. "According to the watchdog group, OpenTheBooks.com, in 2020, the IRS had spent over $21.3 million on firearms, ammo, and military-grade equipment between 2006 and 2019, with the gun stockpile reaching over 4,500." Lawenforcementtoday.com reports "the IRS’s Criminal Investigation Division [is] armed with over 5 million rounds of ammunition." The IRS doesn't engage foreign combatants. There can only be one use for these weapons of war and their targets are clear. Their targets are us.

Strategically this war will only be won not by electing some strongman President but through combined efforts of an energetic, ruthless, unwavering Congress and concerted, aggressive legal assaults by the states against the federal government in every area of influence.

Congress created these massive bureaucracies and endowed them with exceptional power while simultaneously neutering themselves in the process. Congress must dismantle the deep administrative state it created and take back its authority. Only Congress can achieve this. A President cannot.

State governors and attorneys general must combine their efforts to grind the federal bureaucracy to a halt by filing suits against every federal mandate, rule, law, and initiative whether settled or not. States must reassert their 10th Amendment rights and responsibilities.

There must be a complete assault on the federal government by Congress and the states. Laws must be passed to hold bureaucrats personally liable for all decisions they make. It’s not enough to sue an agency if no one within is held accountable.

The President‘s role through Justice must be to charge bureaucrats and supporters of the administrative state with any and all infractions of any law regardless how minor. Similarly for states district attorneys and attorneys general. The left applies these tactics against conservatives. Time to hit back.

People may continue to keep their heads in the sand in which case our Republic is done. These latest moves by the Washington elite are not eerily similar to those of dictatorial regimes. They are the exact tactics used by dictators counting on complacent, compliant populations unwilling to acknowledge their fellow citizens are resorting to jack booted thuggery. Their friends and neighbors supporting unrestrained oppression are complicit fellow travelers.

Elections will not be enough. But for those whom we do elect constant pressure must be exerted to force them to rein in a government tilted to despotism.

Look around at what's happening.
This is not politics as usual.

Political prosecutions, invading populations through open borders, de-funded police, gelded law enforcement, lawlessness, debased currency, a bankrupt nation, cultural indoctrination, social ostracizing. This is a planned and concerted assault on our Republic by one political party against another and every historical institution in order to install one rule despotism.

Ignore these signs at your peril or tell your children and grandchildren when you had the chance, you did nothing.
